Heat shrink tubing is tube that shrinks when heated. Shrinking is a chemical reaction applied to the material through a method called radiation cross-linking.
This type of heat shrink tubing is used for wire connections and electrical equipment. Because the tube shrinks, it can accommodate a wide variety of wires and harnesses, and also has the feature of being placed on steps.
Including household appliances, electronic equipment, automobiles, aircraft wiring harnesses and wiring harnesses, and are widely used in various occasions. When combined with heat shrink tubing, effects such as waterproofing, corrosion protection and heat resistance can be obtained at the same time.
Protects wires from pulling, bending, rubbing, rubbing, etc.
The material of the heat shrink sleeve is polyolefin resin. The manufacturing method is the same as ordinary pipes and is manufactured by extrusion molding.
Use an electric dryer or heat gun to blow hot air onto the heat-shrinkable tube. The heat-shrinkable tube will shrink due to the heat, making it close to the surface of the wire that needs to be protected and fixed in the designated position.
When heat is applied, the tube shrinks due to the effect of returning to its original state. Our heat shrinkage ratio is 2:1.
There are 14 types in total, ranging from a small diameter of 1.5mm to a diameter of 15.5mm. Available in two colors: black and clear.
Choose one whose inner diameter after complete shrinkage is slightly smaller than the diameter of the object to be coated.
Usually, this is a method of heating directly with an industrial dryer, but there is also a method of heating with a belt conveyor oven for mass production.
When heating, heat from the center of the tube to both ends so that there is no air in the tube.
Pay attention to the heat resistance of wires and parts covered with heat shrink tubing.
