This high bay light is designed for low-temperature environments. Operation down to -30℃ makes it suitable for refrigerated warehouse lighting.

It provides brightness comparable to an 800W mercury lamp.

The fixture body combines large-area aluminum alloy fins with resin materials for efficient heat dissipation, rigidity, and reduced weight.

The separated power supply improves heat dissipation, and the IP65 waterproof protection rating supports use in a variety of environments.

Compared with mercury lamps, it also supports instant lighting.

Applications

Factories, Refrigerated Warehouses, Stadiums, and Parking Lots.

※Be sure to install fall-prevention steel cables during installation.

Lightning Surge Protection

The lightning protection design helps protect the fixture from lightning-induced surge voltage. An 8/20 µs surge waveform can produce a discharge current of up to 10 kA.

During direct or induced lightning strikes, surge voltage may be conducted through cables and damage electronic equipment. The fixture includes a lightning surge protection circuit.

Line-to-line surge withstand voltage: ±6 kV
3 times the international standard

Line-to-ground surge withstand voltage: ±15 kV
3.75 times the international standard

SPD (lightning arrester)

Protect LED floodlights by limiting the instantaneous fluctuation current (surge) generated by lightning.

A general lightning strike will cause an electric shock of tens of kV or more, but this LED lamp has an SPD between the power supply and the ground, so when an electric shock occurs, the surge will pass through the SPD and the ground, and discharge current back to the ground.

※When using this lamp, be sure to connect it to ground.

Flicker Countermeasures

Reasons Why Constant Current Is Needed

Flicker Caused by Ripple Voltage

Constant-current control prevents excessive current and maintains stable illumination. Without constant-current control, an increase in voltage raises the current flowing through the LED and increases brightness. Excessive current can degrade the LED, reducing brightness and reliability.

Changes in current also change light output. A constant-current driver is therefore required to maintain consistent lighting quality.

The constant-current power supply includes a protection circuit to help protect the LED from abnormal voltage entering the power supply.

The constant-current power supply receives AC input, which is rectified and smoothed to minimize residual AC voltage variation.

These residual AC voltage components are known as ripple voltage. Ripple voltage can cause LED flicker, which may contribute to visual fatigue. NIKKI power supplies minimize ripple voltage.
