Features

Floodlights for outdoor use, suitable for building exterior wall lighting and advertising billboard lighting.

Lightning surge protection design protects the lamps from damage caused by lightning.

The main body is made of die-cast aluminum to provide good heat dissipation, the arms and bolts are made of stainless steel, and the bracket is coated with weather-resistant coating to enhance weather resistance, making it durable enough even if it is permanently installed outdoors.

The optional arm is made of stainless steel and coated with weather-resistant paint. It is salt-resistant, acid-resistant and corrosion-resistant, providing effectiveness and safety for long-term outdoor installation.

Five wattage options and three beam angles, 30°, 60°, and 120°, are available for different installation environments.

Applications

Factory Lighting, Warehouse Lighting, Construction Site Lighting, Night Construction Lighting, and Civil Engineering Site Lighting.

Low-Flicker LED Illumination

IEEE 1789 (Recommended Practices for Modulating Current in High-Brightness LEDs for Mitigating Health Risks to Viewers) recommends a flicker percentage of 8% or less. At around 3%, flicker is barely perceptible to the human eye.

NIKKI LED lights feature an exclusive low-flicker design that reduces the flicker percentage to less than 2%. This minimizes flicker not only during standard still-image and video recording, but also when capturing high-speed video at frame rates such as 240 fps. As a result, these lights are ideal for precision imaging applications, including machine vision, image inspection, and visual inspection.

Outdoor fixed installation

The arm, bolts, and other hardware use SUS stainless steel for rainy and windy environments. The corrosion-resistant structure supports outdoor applications such as sign lighting.

Dustproof and waterproof

The IP65 protection rating supports dustproof and waterproof LED floodlight applications.

Designed for indoor and outdoor use, including advertising signs, civil engineering sites, and construction sites.

Power protection

The independently developed protection circuit helps protect against inrush current, surge voltage, and momentary power interruption. The high-insulation design improves electrical safety.

High-reliability LEDs support stable operation.


Lightning Surge Protection

The lightning protection design helps protect the fixture from lightning-induced surge voltage. An 8/20 µs surge waveform can produce a discharge current of up to 10 kA.

During direct or induced lightning strikes, surge voltage may be conducted through cables and damage electronic equipment. The fixture includes a lightning surge protection circuit.

SPD (lightning arrester)

Protects the LED floodlight by limiting instantaneous current fluctuations (surges) generated by lightning.

A general lightning strike will cause an electric shock of tens of kV or more, but this LED lamp has an SPD between the power supply IC and the ground. Therefore, if an electric shock occurs, it will flow from the breakthrough through the SPD and the ground back to the ground.

Examples of floodlight applications in advertising billboard lighting

An illumination simulation can be created based on the actual signboard size and required brightness. Floodlight quantity and spacing can be adjusted to meet the customer's lighting requirements.

Conditions ①: The floodlights are installed at a distance of 3m, and the NLFL50A-AC projects light at an angle of 90° to the advertising signboard.

Countermeasures against strong winds (outdoor installation)

Stainless steel hex bolts lock and secure the fixture for outdoor floodlight installation. The design helps maintain fixture stability even in strong wind environments.

[Wind pressure test method]

JIS C 8105-2-5: 2017 floodlight safety regulations, the strength of the lamp structure should withstand a wind speed of 60m/s. In our load-bearing test, the front of the floodlight was oriented horizontally. Place a uniform load on the back of the floodlight and test for 10 minutes to confirm that there is no permanent deformation of 1° or greater.
