The safe flicker rate recommended in IEEE 1789 (Standard for Effects and Evaluation of Lighting Flicker) is 8%, while flicker is almost undetectable to the human eye at about 3%.
The NLU (NLUD) series adopts an exclusive design to further reduce the flicker rate to less than 2%. Color rendering is an indicator used to express the degree to which a light source reproduces the color of an illuminated object.
The higher the color rendering, the more natural colors can be displayed as seen in sunlight.
If the color seen under the light source is exactly the same as that under natural light, the color rendering property is 100. The lower the value, the greater the color difference from that under natural light.
Light sources with high color rendering properties are suitable for applications such as painting or finished product inspection that require color confirmation.
The numerical value obtained by averaging the color rendering evaluation numbers of the eight test colors (No.1 to No.8).
In addition to the average color rendering evaluation number Ra, the performance of daily and important colors such as red (No. 9), yellow (No. 10), green (No. 11), blue (No. 12), Western skin color (No. 13), leaf color (No. 14), Japanese skin color (No. 15), etc. is additionally evaluated.

Compared with standard models, the average color rendering index of the Ra95 5000K specification is 97.3, enabling accurate color recognition even in environments that require a high degree of color reproduction.
